This policy explains how Kinara Consulting (Pty) Ltd(registration number 2025/871359/07, "Kinara," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects personal information submitted through this website (kinaraconsulting.co.za), in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 ("POPIA").

This policy covers the Kinara Consulting corporate website only. Each Kinara product (Qlaim, Nahshon SPLT, Iddan PFT) collects and processes personal information separately, in connection with its own service, under its own product-specific privacy policy.

Who is responsible for your information

What we collect

The only personal information this website collects is what you choose to give us through the "Book a discovery call" form:

• Your name and email address
• Your industry, team size, and how long the problem you describe has been going on
• The business challenge(s) you select or describe
• Any additional message you choose to add

We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies on this website, and we do not collect any personal information beyond what you submit through the form.

Why we collect it

We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry, schedule a discovery call, and understand your business context ahead of that call. We process it on the basis of the consent you give when submitting the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries directed to us.

How we handle it

When you submit the form, its contents are sent directly by email to Kinara's inbox via Resend, a transactional email delivery service acting as our processor, and also stored in a database hosted by Supabase, our database processor, so we can track and follow up on enquiries internally. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

International data transfers

Resend, our email delivery provider, is based outside South Africa. Supabase, our database provider, hosts this data in Ireland (EU/GDPR jurisdiction). Where personal information is transferred outside South Africa, we only do so where the recipient is subject to a law, binding corporate rules, or a binding agreement that provides an adequate level of protection substantially similar to POPIA, or another ground permitted under section 72 of POPIA.

How long we keep it

We retain enquiry records only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you and, where a client engagement follows, for the duration of that engagement plus any period required by law (e.g. tax or contractual record-keeping obligations). If no engagement follows, we aim to delete enquiry records once they are no longer needed for the purpose they were collected for.

Your rights under POPIA

You have the right to:

• Ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you
• Request a copy of it, or ask us to correct it if it's inaccurate
• Ask us to delete it, or object to us processing it, where there's no lawful reason for us to keep it
• Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting anything already done under that consent
• Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator if you believe we have not handled your information properly

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the personal information you share with us, including transmitting it over encrypted connections and using a reputable third-party processor (Resend) for email delivery.
